Tom Adams Construction, Inc. was founded in 1984 by Tom Adams, built on a foundation of hard work, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of the construction industry. Tom began his career in residential construction, gaining hands-on experience in every phase of the building process before expanding into commercial work as the company grew.

Raised in a time when crews handled every aspect of a project from grading the land to the final touches of finish carpentry Tom developed a true “jack of all trades” skillset. That experience continues to shape the company today, driving a commitment to quality, efficiency, and doing things the right way from start to finish.

More than just a business, Tom Adams Construction, Inc is a family legacy. Tom works alongside his daughter, Katie Adams, carrying forward the values the company was built on. He is married to his wife, Dana Adams, and together they have two daughters, Katie Adams and Sarah Wilbanks, as well as three grandchildren.

​

When they’re not on the jobsite, the Adams family enjoys spending time together mule riding and participating in wagon trains, embracing the same spirit of tradition, connection, and hard work that defines both their family and their business.

Katie Adams has been an integral part of Tom Adams Construction, Inc. for over 20 years, playing a key role in the company’s growth and continued success. With a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a deep understanding of the construction industry, Katie brings both financial expertise and operational insight to every project.

As Vice President, Katie wears many hats overseeing estimating, project management, and coordination while also managing all CFO-related operations. Her ability to balance the financial side of the business with the day-to-day demands of construction ensures projects run efficiently, stay on budget, and meet the high standards the company is known for.

Growing up in the business, Katie shares the same hands-on mentality and commitment to quality that her father built the company on. She continues to help lead Tom Adams Construction, Inc with a focus on integrity, accountability, and strong client relationships.

Outside of work, Katie is a proud mother to Glenn and Marykate and enjoys sharing life’s adventures with David. She loves spending time with her family on the farm, mule riding, and participating in wagon trains activities that reflect her deep appreciation for family, tradition, and the outdoors.
